Do I Need a Permit?
If your skip will be placed on private land/driveway/carpark or in a yard, this will not require a permit.
If your skip is to be placed on a road that is owned and maintained by the local council, a permit will be required at an extra cost. This can be booked through our website and we will take care of the rest.
When will I be unable to have a permit?
Wigan Council requires 48 hours to process a permit.
Your skip can not be placed on yellow lines
Close to a pelican crossing
Near a bus stop
Within 15 metres of a junction
Near dangerous bends on a busy road.
Permits expire after 28 days
